Statistically significant differences in career motivation of employees working in Slovak enterprises depending on age and gender were determined by questionnaire method. The survey was conducted in 2016. The importance of motivational factors was defined by using descriptive statistics. Chi-square test and post-hoc tests were used to verified significance. Following the outcomes of the research, we can state that no statistically significant differences exist in the career motivation of employees working in Slovak enterprises depending on age and gender. Managers should use unified motivation program regardless of age and gender for those employees who are motivated by career motivation factors.
